it may seem petty, but no lol. i mean it kind of depends on to what extent like if he always has something to say whenever he's sees her on tv or hears her song, i would get pretty annoyed. he doesnt have to love Bey but i won't have him talking **** all the time

But in all seriousness though, similar music tastes would never be a requirement when looking for a prospective partner. It's something so trivial that anyone who would choose to date/not date someone based only on that is someone with issues of their own. In fact, I'd prefer to date someone whose tastes and interests are the opposite of mine so I could broaden my horizons and learn new things through them and vice-versa. Dating someone who's basically a clone of me in terms of personality and taste would get incredibly boring very fast.

well...everyone loves Keri so I don't have that problem ...but I feel as though if someone is really trying to get to know you they will at least be tolerable and respectful of your interests (musically or in general) so someone's fave shouldn't even be an issue
