Utada left for reasons not concerning Ayumi, Ayumi and her declining sales can sit all the way down. And Namie declined for a while because of her music style change, you will remain uneducated.
Namie is very hit or miss w/ me. Either I live for a song from her or I absolutely hate it. I know she will bring it on the next album though. Past Future was flawless.

Utada signed a global contract with EMI before she left, she's retiring over my and EMI's dead body. You must still be bitter about that 90% drop in 2nd day sales that her latest release, "Dream On", had.
