"Uh-oh! They're already doing damage control!
Columbia Records is reportedly concerned with Beyoncé, because her latest album, 4, isn't as commercial and radio-friendly as they'd like it to be, and she's refused to make any alterations or record new material!
And apparently, they think that the solution to rejuvenating her career is to reunite Destiny's Child!
A source explains:
"They're very nervous about Beyoncé's new record. It doesn't have the hit songs that her fans are used to. They asked her to make changes, but she said no. Beyoncé's career has stalled a bit. Columbia seems to think they can get some mileage out of a comeback record with all of the girls."
According to another source, the girls could be recording a new album, possibly titled Family Reunion, together again as soon as October, but it's now Kelly Rowland who's the hold-out!
The insider reveals:
"She has her own solo career now, why would she want to be singing back up for Beyoncé?"
Very inneresting how the tables seemed to have turned!
But hey! 4 may not be our favorite, but we don't blame her for not wanting to make changes!
Every artist, especially as one as successful as Beyoncé, is allowed to experiment with her sound!
Give her a break, guys!
