I think people here misconstrue what some stans and Adam are trying to convey. We aren't going to say that the negative press doesn't matter and that only the good ones do. When writing an article, at least for an esteemed outlet, a level of professionalism is necessary. By being shady as hell and providing rude remarks in your work, you only convey a negative image of your outlet and in the end, lead the public into believing that your management is content on running an unprofessional business. If you're content on running a unprofessional business, then how are we as the consumers and general public are suppose to embrace your products/reviews as credible pieces?
There are ways of writing negative reviews for something, but only the more credible journalists can adapt their writings into such a way. Britney has received negative a press her entire career, some have written incredible pieces that weren't too flattering to Britney, yet it came off as a professional piece. Are we suppose to take someone serious when their writing is equivalent to that of a tabloid magazine writer?
