Best review of Bionic I've ever read.
Quote:
ARTIST: CHRISTINA AGUILERA
ALBUM: BIONIC
NEW YORK (Billboard) - We may have love affairs with all kinds of gimmicky divas, but it takes Christina Aguilera to remind us that singing really matters. That's not to say the pop star's latest release, "Bionic," is all about her voice, a muscular acrobat that's become more elegant with age. Combine it with the inventive work of a diverse cast of producers and you've got the best mainstream pop album of the year thus far. Sure, "Bionic" was made for a post-Lady Gaga world, where the comparisons are inevitable and the sales stakes are high. But from the fidgety intro of the dub-tastic opening title track (produced by Santigold collaborators John Hill & Switch) to punk-brat driving song "My Girls" (produced by Le Tigre, with a guest rap from Peaches) to Aguilera's gloriously restrained delivery on "All I Need" (Sia Furler co-produced the vocals), the 18-song set shows an artist confident enough to take direct cues from her tuned-in creative team. Because she's bold enough to do it her way, Aguilera maintains her reign.

SINCE, I read the stanbase thread, and was told to say hello.
HAY GURLS HAY.
Hi, really, no, ok. I'm Tim.
I don't know much of Xtina's music, really. Just the ones that I love.
The only album I really listened to was Bionic, which I thought was AMAZING (The fact that it flopped is beyond me).
Vanity is my jam. And the futuristic electro was amazing.
No, I'm not ass kissing either. lmao.
In regards to her next album, I hope she does whatever she wants to do, as she always has done (From what I gather). I heard she was thinking about doing a rock influenced album, yes?

My turn
Nombre: Chris (If that wasn't obvious )
You should go listen to Back to Basics, it's one of my favorite albums of all time
Bionic; I really don't get why it flopped. Was it the wrong single choices? That album was AMAZING, the only songs I disliked were I Hate Boys & My Girls. Every song, to me, was really good. The bonus tracks, if they were put on the standard, It would have, I think, not flopped. No matter, I love it
From what I've heard, yes. I really want Fighter type songs though, that's what I'm here for

Lol. I've seen your posts a lot in the GaGa threads. Lol.
I'll probably go through her discography soon. (I spent like an entire day researching/listening to Madonna).
I'm currently researching Abba, lol.
I like I hate boys and my girls, but I have to be in the mood for them.
If she has another song that makes me think of Candyman, I'll be a happy boy.

I still think that her best album yet is still Stripped.

Tim! I love that name <3 Hey, I'm Ahmed, as you can tell from my username
You should listen to Stripped, it has really meaningful songs, also Back to Basics is Amazing. I would say start with Back to Basics, it is really an amazing Album <3 nice to see that you took the time to come here <3
Also Vanity is one of my favorite songs.
And yes, she said she would like to make a rock album someday, that would be fun, playing with some drums and guitar solos.

Hey! <3 <3
I will go from Debut to Bionic in chronological order of course. It's the only way I do it, lol. I have no problem coming here, or anywhere really. I might be a "Little Monster," but I love several artists. It bothers me that so many people hate on each other's fave's here, but I guess it's all for fun, really.
I only stan for GaGa, Kylie, and Ke$ha. But I love several others like, say, Adele, Britney, Christina, Robyn, etc,.
But anyway, ok. I hope she makes that kind of album then because I think that most artists make the best albums when they have the most fun, y'know, just experimenting with the different music they can make.
I've always thought Xtina should have stayed near the Jazz kind of sound though myself.

Hahah okay that is great! Listen to everything she has made hahah xD Yes, I do hate and troll others but it is really only if they start it.
That's also one thing I love about Xtina, she does something different in every album which is great. So I am very excited for the next album

I don't think this album will be anything like Back To Basics or Bionic.
I think it will resemble Stripped in the emotional places she is going on the album.
I doubt she even has idea boards up.
