Pitbull isn't going anywhere as far as exceeding Adele by more than 20,000 digital downloads this week. Currently, the difference between their singles is about 0.06%, with Pitbull leading. This represents 0.06% of what Katy Perry is currently selling with LFN. Assuming Katy is selling 35,000 downloads a day, this represents a less than 2,000 download advantage per day for PItbull.

The difference between Adele and Pitbull last week was around 9% and finally Adele ended up selling only 14k more than Pitbull!

3. Pitbull - Give Me Everything: 191007
5. Adele - Rolling In the Deep: 180405
The above figures - for Monday to Friday - aren't accurate in my view. It would mean that Pitbull and Adele will sell only another 20 or 30,000 over Saturday-Sunday. How can this be? IIt's impossible.

The estimate is for the whole week, Monday to Sunday. With the estimates it says Mon-Fri + 2x Fri. So to estimate weekend sales I just take Friday again twice.
I've experimented with giving more weight to weekend sales but I've found it more accurate to just weigh each day the same.
The UK iTunes top 10 is such a mess what is happening? It used to be so good last year, now its a bunch of messy songs, proves that the chavs have taken over iTunes
I think it's because it's summer people are a bit drunk and buying songs you can dance to, it usually goes all over the place around about this time of year. Normality will probably resume by August
Yep, it was about 22 million difference last week, and that will obviously get smaller this coming week, the difference will probably decrease to something like 16-18 million, depending on whether RITD is falling harder on the BDSradio charts.
