The most disappointing things this era have been the BTW album cover, and TEoG music video, and both have grown on me rather quickly. So no, I'm not disappointed. Actually, the only thing that never grew on me and is still ugly as sin is the Hair promo single cover.

I think the album is great but I think she hasn't taken the time to execute the singles in a satisfying way. Performances that are different every single time with no continuity or expectation left. Videos that have missed the mark in many different ways. And so much overexposure that there is nothing to be excited about anymore. oh GaGa performed somewhere again today? Oh she had a stupid costume on that had nothing to do with the song? Oh ok...
I never used to be one to say she needs to take a break or anything. But she needs to at least take a breath and GET ORGANIZED

Though I automatically liked the TEoG video so that didn't need to grow on me.
I am not maybe with releasing BTW as first single but TEOG being a single made up for that , the album is one of my favourites, nice performances, I've loved almost everything she's done this era

Hair = Bad.
Edge of Glory = Between Bad and Alright.
I was so excited for her new album and it really disappointed me, based on these songs.
It's good that she's evolving...but I just feel she's trying too hard with certain things, while at the same time, it's not that great.
I honestly think that Bad Romance was such an incredible song and video that everything after it just seemed like "meh."
Telephone was going slightly downhill as far as the video went. Alejandro...that should have never happened. And these new era songs aren't doing it for me.
Don't get me wrong, I still love her. But I'm just extremely disappointed. I expected her to get better, not worse.
And this is all an opinion of mine. I'm not trying to troll or anything. Ya'll will probably disagree. This new era just isn't floating my boat.
I won't say I'm disappointed in this era, but compared to The Fame (Monster), it doesn't compare in my opinion. She has put out a decent to good album, but there seems to be something missing from this era. I think the way she hyped it up takes away from the era for most fans or casual listeners. If she just released the album and let it be whatever it is without hyping or "over-promoting," then the expectations from most would be a lot lower. This seems like an era that could burn out at a very fast rate. The Fame (Monster) was just the opposite.
I am! The album is mediocre, the videos are **** compared to her early videography, and she's been a huge turn off in every interview & any aspect of speaking thus far. The quality of the era is also really low compared to what I was expecting from the hype. Oh well. #BloodyMary.
