As I said last night on Twitter, people who don't like Britney will never understand the love and undying loyalty her fans have for her. I don't speak for everyone but the girl is real. There's no pretentiousness, there's no facade. She's Britney whether or not she's skinny or chubby, sipping on her Starbucks and cheetos, hanging out with her babies or wearing daisy dukes and flip flops.
Last night was a big deal for Britney fans. The "old" Britney is starting to re-appear. The pressed can't take it. They don't know what to do. All their hating talking points are being smashed. "oh she can't dance, oh she doesnt sing live" well suck it bitches, she did, and she does.
Now it's "well she's singing to a backing track," umm most people do. "Her vocals were pre-recorded," don't care, it's not the CD version. "It's a mix of pre-recorded and live," and your point is?
They can't take it y'all. Their faves would never get cheered for hitting a flat note. We do...why? It's how we know her ass is doing it live.
Britney fans set our excitement high, put the bar low, and anything above a complete MESS (vma 07
) is a success. Anything above Circus tour is a success. Trading less dancing for more live singing is a success.
