I don't think this merge is much of a concern for Britney as Femme Fatale fulfilled her contract with Jive. She'll probably end up somewhere else now -- ideally, Live Nation.

Nope. Xtina did it herself. She just had bad hype, she wasn't fighting with the label or anything. Kelly and Avril both wanted personal albums to be release but rca wanted big million seller albums. Both artist got bad hype and lack of promotion because of it.
