As someone who has studied filming and editing (and loves every gaga video), I can say this is truly horrible. Hard to watch. Sloppy.
The framing, the camera movements and jerking ugh I cant even

GaGa already has a simple video, and that's Eh Eh. The thing is, that simple video fits the song perfectly, while this just pales in comparisons with the vibe of the song.

I have imagined this video being two scenes - One where she is a mermaid, and the second where she is, literally, standing on the edge of glory, a high mountain with a breathtaking view, naturally looking for once.

The song is so easily accessible to the public that the video wouldn't make much of a difference anyways. If a song is infectious, it's going to latch onto consumers regardless of the video (a la Born This Way). A better video would help, but not by much more.

While Eh Eh is kinda simple, I meant bare bones simple where the artist is literally the only focus of the video. Eh Eh had loads of people and was constantly moving from one scene to another.

Those kind of simple video just simply DOES NOT fit "The Edge". This video needed a video that will amaze people, make them feel emotional, make them feel something, not just staring at GaGa dancing crazy at a dark street wondering what the hell she wants from us.
