Stargate makes good songs but im wondering how he would work the production of Gagas vocals cause as we saw with Judas overproduced studio vocals dont work well with live performances. What worries me is that stargates biggest hits(only girl and firework) were largely overproduced. Gaga has better vocal control, but I dont know.

Chris, you must've known the mention of StarGate would get me excited. They produce the best hits for my other queen.

Their productions >>>> the Doctor's prescriptions. They always manage to to keep it fresh. They are not seen as sell-outs, & have kept up the quality & quantity. GaGa would be wise to invest time in them. She shouldn't be deathly afraid of mainstream pop producers. The only ones she needs to avoid are Luke, Max Martin & their counterparts. And David Guetta.

StarGate, Bangladesh (she should broaden her urban appeal), maybe Bloodshy, more Darkchild, etc.

The most remembered song from an album is the most successful one. Even although it's not even the best song on the album.

I don't really agree with that. They are all three very powerful songs, Marry The Night and Born This Way in a somewhat similar way. Born This Way was built from the ground up to resist aging, it had the biggest release a song has experienced in over a decade (if not ever), it shares the name of the album, is the summation of everything Gaga has ever stood for and was extremely successful commercially and critically.

I love preaching about the greatness of Born This Way. I can't wait until it's a classic ten years down the road and you can quote me.

I think Born this Way, TEOG, & MTN will be the most remembered.

Gaga could bring Timbaland + Danja back to relevance and some hot **** along with.

Can you believe that BTW (song) was released only 4 months ago? It seems so long ago. Bad Romance was a single during about 4 months (october-february). It smashed hard all that time. That's the main reason I don't think BTW had such an impact. It faded so fast, even though it was still turning in the iTunes top 20 after. Its initial weeks were impressive, but it was gone after 1,5-2 months.

I need a single that last strong for 3-4 months - this will be the single remembered from BTW. Hopefully TEOG or MTN.

It faded fast because it reached 100 million AI in like week and sold almost 1,000,000 copies in the US the first two weeks. Not to mention it got played every hour on the hour at all of the major radio stations in the United States starting on Day 1.

BTW has nearly 6 million points on UWC. It will make the all-time list. TEOG and MTN won't match that, even though they deserve to exceed it.

It's too early to say where TEOG will end up, especially worldwide when its run hasn't legitimately started in many countries.

Like Fadicuss said, her biggest hits have all been about longevity. She's never really had those 300k+ weeks (or even 250k+ weeks) outside of BTW's explosive start.

Yes. It was impressive the 2-3 first weeks. Part of it was major hype, but not only that. Still, overall you can't deny that it's way far behind her previous big hits. The sales prove it. It will maybe reach 4 million before the end of the year, far behind her previous huge hits.

The video had no impact too IMO. Some may argue that it was amazing with all the art, but it just wasn't at the level of her previous videos.

I like the song, but it's not a career defining song at all, not even an era one.
