Party Rock Anthem is increasing just as fast on radio and is stable way above her on iTunes, while Gaga is decreasing.
Last Friday Night already passed it on iTunes and is increasing like crazy - same on radio.
Give Me Everything is above her on both iTunes and Radio and increading.
Therefore, unless the video gives it a huge boost (as huge as Judas' would be without the release of TEOG), it's most likely not going #1.
I'm not being negative, actually I don't give a **** about whether it goes #1 and no one should because it means nothing.

The point is that LFN is higher than she is on iTunes purely because of the video. We may see that tomorrow. Who knows what'll happen. Gaga is still the biggest increasing song on radio; the higher she goes, anything could happen...

I am not saying that it will go to #1. I'm saying that it is silly to rule it out when you consider all the factors.

This gets my nomination for post of the year. I couldn't have said it any better. There is nothing in the last 5 weeks that suggests that The Edge Of Glory will not go to #1. In fact, almost everything suggests that it will go to #1. All TEOG has done in its first 5 weeks is establish itself in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 week after week, and get the greatest AI increase day after day. This is all happening without the music video even out yet.

TEOG is sitting in a very good position right now. Most of you just do not know it. Give Me Everything and Party Rock Anthem are going to peak a lot sooner than TEOG. It is going to be a very long while before TEOG peaks.

This is all very true. Stay positive. #1's are all about timing, so they are difficult to predict... TEOG could go #1 or it may miss it, but everyone needs to calm down about the charts.

Speaking of charts, another point to remember is that GME and PRA probably have lower ceilings than TEOG... this is due to the fact that these songs have been charting for longer than TEOG and they have videos released. TEOG is still relatively new and is becoming a multi-format smash, something that Gaga has not done before (at least to this extent)....

In addition... (another random thought in my head) is we should stop trying to judge the video and its impact prior to its release... it is like shooting arrows in the dark..... nobody thought the Judas video would be that good or make that big of an impact- it turned out to be great video and was able to take the song from #28 to #8 on iTunes.... anything is possible!
