I remember many years ago when I used to be a huge Miley fan (2007?), it was announced that she signed a solo record deal so that she could record music aside from Hannah Montana. I remember the terms being 4 albums. She has done Meet Miley Cyrus, Breakout, The Time of Our Lives, and Can't Be Tamed. Plus, tons of songs for movies and her show were released.

She's still on Hollywood Records' website so this move hasn't been confirmed yet...

If they don't even care enough about Miley, they aren't going to put effort into Selena. Maybe she can have a little more focus on her, but she's not going to suddenly dominate.

I always thought she would become more of a country singer than a pop singer for some reason.
