'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' debuted 25 years ago today. It ended up being director John Hughes's top movie with $70.1M: http://bit.ly/k51W4K
I knew expecting anything more from ATRL than having heard the latest Selena Gomez/Katy/Ke$ha/Britney song was asking too much
Sis, you know I've heard none of those things.
If this movie slays The Breakfast Club then I'll be interested. Thoughts Nicole? I realize this movie is iconic, but I need reasons why I should spend one hour and forty-five minutes of my time watching it.

Good, hearing those things when you're over 15 is a little embarrassing...
Seeing as it's John Hughes' highest grossing film as a director, it slayed TBC in that regard.

Good. I was disappointed in The Breakfast Club because everybody made it out to be a hugely iconic 80's movie when I thought it was rather bland. I was afraid the same would be true about Ferris, but now I'll have to check it out.
