Not a patch on his Capital FM mix of 2010. This was the year of great (or very good) female pop - and Capital FM chooses to incorporate Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger and Jessie J (twice)? Why the celebration of mediocrity?

It wasn't bad.

Because Nicole Scherzinger and Jessie J are absolutely massive in the UK. It would have been a glaring admission to not include them.

Massive means getting an album to move at least 100,000 copies, which one of them has still not accomplished ...

But, you get my point? I kind of wish Z100 had asked DJ Earworm to do this; then we'd get women who were actually MASSIVE (Brit, Gaga, Adele, Rihanna, Katy). Not these glorified C-listers.

If Nicole and Jessie are glorified C listers then what is Katy B?

The one song I know from her is a repetitive mess with some kind of chav anthem video, featuring a rapper who hasn't been relevant since 2006 when she was arrested, if then. Most people don't like it.

Nicole and the PDC have been huge in the UK since 2005, that can't begin to be denied. And Jessie J has burst onto the scene with 2 great singles, one of which hit #1 across the world AND winning that prestigious Brit award that great artists like Adele & Florence have won before her.

I agree with all that but Adele. She has one big song and is moving a lot with one album but she has more to prove before she can begrouped with those. Add Beyonce or something

how would artists become "accomplished" like you want them to be when they dont start with promos like these huh? Those "MASSIVE" artists youre saying started off small, everyone did. if everyone has the same mentality as yours then theres going to be no progress in the industry, there no evolution just saying
