Music is much more than performing on the stage, it's much more than beautiful clothes, and glamourous videos.It is much bigger than the flashing lights and enduring fans, it connects the world. It always amazes me when I look into the audience in America, Japan, or ethiopia- it doesn't matter where I am in the world-no matter what language the country speaks -when good music is playing, we are all united and it makes me very proud to know that my music can give ppl strength & hope, writing a song like "Independent Woman" can give inspiration to young woman. It encourages them to have bigger goals and aspires for themselves.[I'm proud to know] having an all female group representing different ethinicities & unique looks can hopefully inspire young girls to pick up an instrument- and if they focus long enough, work hard, maybe it could be them on stage seeing people singing.The best thing about music is being able to inspire the children around the world that are truly my hero's.
