Teen Mom star Amber Portwood pled guilty to two counts of domestic violence charges yesterday in an Indiana courtroom. The charges stem from an incident caught on tape by MTV cameras last year in which Amber is seen hitting, kicking and punching her on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary Shirley. Amber was facing a possible three years in jail and steep fines for the incident.
Fortunately for her, she will serve no jail time. She accepted a plea bargain where in exchange for her pleading guilty to her domestic violence charges, her punishment is two years of probation. Also part of the plea deal is that her two other charges, a felony count of neglect of a dependent and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence were dropped. Pretty sweet deal, don't you think?
Amber should consider herself extremely fortunate to walk away from this with just a slap on the wrist.
Here's hoping that she finally grows up and puts her daughter first and stops acting like a spoiled child. Amber needs to learn that being loud and violent doesn't make you cool or tough, it just makes you a bad mom.
Yeah she got no jail time because she is a reailty star

If this was some regular teen mom, she would probably be in jail.
by they the way, the original girls of "Teen Mom" are back for a new season July 5th
