Yes, their leadership skills must be admired. Mother Theresa used her influence to rally people from around the world to support charitable causes and become ambassadors for good-will. Gaga's must be applauded for her ability to assemble a massive army of dedicated fans, and her ability to influence identity is truly amazing; everyone is a monster, everyone adopts a bullied/outcast backstory. Beautiful.
I've listened to a speech by Chris Hitchens (also mentioned in the article) where he calls Mother Theresa an awful woman...according to him she worked really hard against empowerment of women and rallied hard to make women totally submissive to their husbands. And besides, people who promote extreme cases of any religion are not highly regarded in my book.
Mother Theresa is very overrated and is definitely not an innocent holy being.
