I almost never say this, but Perez is 100% right.

1) The PTC are correct in saying Chris would get a whole lot of negative press if he shot a woman in his music video.

2) The PTC missed the point of the song: feeling regret for killing a man, even though he did her wrong. They probably missed this because the video didn't really do the song justice IMO The video lost the point of the song.

But yeah, I pretty much meant that as parents, they themselves should be able to decide what their kids listen to or watch. That is their responsibility. Or, as RudeBoy said, make sure the kids know the difference between a story and reality.

Man Down MV just tells a story of a sexually abused woman, decides to kill her abuser. Did Rihanna say that she AGREES with the woman's decision? NO!

I don't see A REASON why Chris will have to kill a woman in his video. Rihanna had an actual common STORYLINE of an innocent girl who's innocence is taken from her, who decides to kill her abuser. And if she doesn't do it, probably one of her parents does.
