5:21: SCEA president Jack Tretton takes the stage, addressing the recent outage. He thanks third-party and retail partners for their support during PlayStation Network's downtime. Tretton offers an apology to all PlayStation users and reports a slight dip in PSN usage since PSN has come back online.
5:27: Naughty Dog comes on to show Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The demo sees Drake sneaking around in an abandoned cruiseliner at sea, stealthily taking out goons. Drake makes his way into the inner holds and ends up in a confrontation with armed guards. One of the grenades Drake throws opens a hole in the cruiseliner, causing it to capsize and sink.
5:33: Uncharted 3 beta begins June 28th. The full version releases on November 1, 2011.
5:38: Now it's Insomniac Games with a brief demo of Resistance 3. The player will take part in an attempt to ambush the Chimera, only for the operation to go bad. You'll be forced to haul a power core around, unable to defend yourself. A special Doomsday Edition of Resistance 3 includes Move Controller, Wand, Sharpshooter accessory, PlayStation Eye, and a copy of the game.
5:42: Both God of War PSP games are being remastered in 3D for God of War: Origins Collection.
5:43: Sony is introducing a 24-inch 3D-capable display as an affordable solution for consumers to view 3D content. It also has the unique capability to display two images at once, showing one image through special glasses for two-player games. A bundle featuring the monitor, HDMI cable, glasses, and Resistance 3 releases this fall for $499.
5:47: 2K Sports is on hand to demo NBA 2K12. The game is compatible with Move, making it accessible for all PS3 users. Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant is brought in to show off Move controls. NBA 2K12 goes on sale in October.
5:53: Medieval Moves: Dead Man's Quest is a fantasy action game requiring only the Wand to play. Swinging a sword, shooting a bow and arrow, and defending yourself is done with one hand. Has a cartoony presentation. Available Fall 2011.
6:00: LittleBigPlanet 2 is receiving an update in fall that allows players to add PlayStation Move support to their custom levels.
6:01: Starhawk time. Combat takes place on foot, buggys, transforming aircraft, and orbital craft.
6:03: Sly Cooper is back in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and he hasn't missed a bit with his stealing shenanigans. Available in 2012.
6:05: From EVE Online developer CCP Games comes Dust 514, a cross-platform shooter taking place far in the future. Large-scale battles take place in planets, outer space, and even other galaxies. Plenty of ships to control too. Coming Summer 2012 but you'll be able to take part in a beta at the end of the 2011.
6:10: A Bioshock Infinite trailer shows more high-flying antics with the suspended rails. Looking much faster paced than the first two Bioshock games. Ken Levine takes the stage.
6:12: Levine reveals Infinite supports PlayStation Move and a new Bioshock in the works for NGP. Infinite PS3 also includes a copy of the first Bioshock.
6:15: 2012's Star Trek film tie-in action game supports PlayStation Move. Young Captain Kirk and Spock are playable characters.
6:18: The PlayStation 3 version of SSX includes an exclusive Mount Fuji level, recreated from satellite imagery.
6:19: Battlefield 3 includes a copy of Battlefield 1943 on the disc.
6:20: Sony Corporation deputy president Kazuo Hirai takes over.
6:24: NGP is officially called PlayStation Vita.
6:25: Sony is partnering with AT&T to support Vita's 3G version. That got a few laughs and boos from the audience.
6:27: Vita's Party Room feature allows PSN users to invite friends for voice chat sessions.
6:28: First Vita game demo is Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The visuals are on par with the PS3 versions. Attacks can be performed on the touchscreen in the manner of a quick-time event. You can literally play through the game just by tapping and sliding your finger across the screen.
6:35: Next up is Ruin, a Diablo-like action RPG. You can upload your save to the PS3 version and resume playing at home.
6:41: Modnation Racers is coming to Vita, coded from scratch and not ported from previous versions. Track editor accepts input from touch screen and rear panel.
6:45: And now for some LittleBigPlanet. Offers every building tool from LittleBigPlanet 2 and supports Vita's various control methods.
6:48: A surprise from Capcom: Street Fighter X Tekken for Vita. Cole from inFamous is playable in the game, able to create shields that knock back fighters and miniature tornadoes.
6:53: Over 80 titles in development for Vita. A montage shows other titles in development: Wipeout, Little Deviants, Sound Shapes, Gravity Daze, Hustle Kings, Super Stardust Delta, Reality Fighters, Hot Shots Golf, a Warriors game, a title from Vanillaware, and something strongly resembling Tenchu.
6:56: Vita launches holiday 2011. Wi-Fi model sells for $249 / 249 Euros. 3G Model retails for $299 / 299 Euros.
