Is Rihanna covering a Nicki Minaj tune in these videos? (I'm assuming. I don't know Nicki's music and certainly it would be silly to bring her up if this has absolutely nothing to do with her. So, would something like Rihanna covers Nicki Minaj be appropriate?)

Anyways, do people seriously think its going to outdo the original? Besides, I dont think Rihanna intended to prove that. Its just a cover, and for a cover, I thought it was a good effort.
I didn't post this tread to prove that Rihanna slays Prince.
Obviously Prince is better. But Rihanna made a fantastic effort, and i thought her cover slayed. She slayed the song. Even without hearing a whole lot of it, I've heard enough to determine that she slayed.
She covered it beautifully. I give props to her.
