So? The animal doesn't chose be locked up on someone's farm either, now does it.
As far as I'm concerned, these animals are comparable to kids. Parents pick what their kid wears each day, and the kids don't have a say. What the parent wants the kid to wear, the kid wears. You don't see people rallying for the kids, saying "RIGHTS FOR 5 YEAR OLDS!!! ITS CRUEL TO PICK WHAT A CHILD WEARS!!! FREEDOM OF CHOICE!!!!"
As long as the animals ain't being abused (whipped, beaten, malnurished, neglected, etc), their owners can do whatever the hell they want to them. And the same applies to human kids too. I wouldn't be surprised if by 2020, animals have more rights that children do.
