Umm...no other female artist came even close to 1.3 million back in 2000. Britney was simply in a league of her own. The fact that we have two female artists get 1million+ sales in their first week within the past 6 months is amazing, such a thing didn't happen with Britney in 2000 and there were plenty of female artists releasing music at the time. Remember, up until the release of Oops, the biggest female debut was "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" by Alanis Morissette with 469,000 units sold.
