I really wish Amy would put a stop to this. I find her music much more enjoyable. Back to Black ***** on 21 ten times over and Adele should be on her knees thanking Jesus for keeping Amy a cracked out *****.
I like Adele but she and her people are full of it. The only thing Adele has to be particularly proud of is her voice. She has brought nothing to the table but whiny crap about break-ups (save Rolling in the Deep and Hometown Glory). What she constantly sings about is not much different from Taylor Swift, and Swift makes much more solid albums. Her and her people's pretentious mother superior attitude is downright obnoxious.
No matter which way you try to spin it, Adele is popular only because of her music. You barley hear anything about her in the Media (Stuff like what she's wearing, what she attended, what Hot List she has topped or these shallow kind of things) but she's popular because of the great music she produces.
I'm happy that an artists had been able to achieve in an era where people focus so much about the image.
And she came out a year after Amy and the same year as Leona. That's why I laugh at these comments as if she's this new artist that is randomly smashingShe debuted the same year as GaGa, Katy, Leona and the rest. Her success is surprising, but she isn't new in terms of the industry or the type of artists that tend to do well.
That is what I said. Some people and the media outlets act like she is a new artist that just came out.
