On the Floor is currently one of the biggest hits of the year & is currently sitting at #5 on the Hot 100, with a previous peak of #3. It has sold 2039000 in 13 weeks, & is still selling well.

That being said, is she becoming a singles artist? Her album is having decent longetivity but the sales are far from great. She hasn't been a great album seller for years now. Do you see LOVE? even going gold, or selling seven digits worldwide? What should she do in order to ensure better album sales? What do you think of her material, & what needs to be changed to make it better, or improved? Should she continue to do high-profile collaborations? Should she put the main focus on single success & worry about album success later? Will she ever be able to put on a tour?

The song is doing fair in the UK, but not that great in the US & worldwide

In all seriousness, I'm disappointed with her lackluster album sales. But then again, I expected way less and no longevity. To be fair, the album is far from being a flop. I can see it going gold.

That's not saying a lot though. She needs a "real" album comeback.

On The Floor is trash. Catchy trash, but still trash. Pitbull is gross too. That said, I would not buy her album if it was 99 cents.

On the Floor is good but I got sick of it rather early, & other good tracks include Love? & Run the World. The best track, by far, is I'm Into You, & sounds the most like a hit . I'm hoping that song charts well soon, because it's by far the best song she's done in the past few years. She needs to stop with that Good Hit-type mess NOW. Who let her record that?

On The Floor is disposable...not surprised she isn't selling albums. Not only that but she didn't even really do much before the album came out to MAKE people buy it.

They might as well have called the album On The Floor cause there is nothing Love? about this era and these singles.

I think this goes to what I've always though - On The Floor would have been a HIT with ANYONE singing it; it took off faster being Jenny Lo's single.

But, you can only expect so much when you're not much of a singer, you put out mediocre album after mediocre album, and the only solo tour you've done in thirteen years consisted of two shows in Puerto Rico.

What makes something like "On the Floor" any more "quality" than something like "California Gurls?"

I'm sorry, but the material Jennifer records can be sung by any random bitch in the industry and it would sell on iTunes. Jennifer's voice is monotone; her voice doesn't stand out and isn't easily recognizable. "On the Floor" is generic in every sense of the word. The production is generic. The lyrics are generic. The vocals are generic. The title is generic. I'm not surprised she got a hit after all these years but can't sell a record. It was the same case for Nelly and Enrique Iglesias. They released those safe ass singles that radio and young people would eat up but failed to realize the audiences that actually go out and buy records.

She has never been a big album seller. even at her peak and is just coming off a huge flop 4 years ago I don;t know why her sales are such a big surprise to people. she is selling decently worldwide I can see her selling a million albums WW after the era is done with the right single selections.

before you bring up American Idol She has only promoted herself on there twice with the video premier and album release performance. She hasn't performed anywhere else.
