What would be ironic was Cheryl judging someone on their vocals when her voice is average at tops, and she barely sings live.
I still stand by my point, she is judging someone's talent and deciding on whether they have the X-factor to make it big as the next recording star. I wasn't here for Cheryl as a judge either but I have NEVER heard her music so I can't really say anything on that note.
I just don't see how she can judge anyone when she is not a successful act in the US herself.

Nicole has talent which is much more superior than Cheryl's..
X-Factor aka APPEAL. Anyone, singer or not...successful or not, can detect appeal.

You want people who flop & have yet to have true huge commercial success judge you? I can see where it'd be okay for a judge to judge if they only recently started flopping but had a successful career otherwise. It's different when they've never seen a humungous moment of success. I wouldn't want someone to judge me that doesn't know how start their own solo career. I would only look up to her advice if I was competing with a group of people.
