She needs to find the right composition of light/dark chorus/verse in a song. In some, it is way to heavy and in some, like Bad Romance and in my opinion Judas, which is not shared with the masses, it is on spot perfection. But in Bad Kids and Hair it's too much. To me, I like Hair but it just sounds like a mix of so many optional songs. The first parts thing could be like Speechless 2.0, the chorus is a mess and then that second verse kicks in and makes it darker and better but then another chorus and voila gone. But then that The Fame bridge comes and I love it.
The switches from dark to light in Hair are so strange...

I like Bad Kids but it could have been great with a better chorus. It just seems like it literally is on the edge of glory.

There are ways to do it without sounding like you have a speech impediment. The first BR chorus is a great example. The way the pre-chorus builds (you know that I want you) and builds (you know that I need you) and builds some more (I want it bad, your bad romance) before the chorus finally explodes is huge and catchy and captivating. I'm not a big fan of the 2nd "rah rah" chorus.

At first i wasn't "feeling" it but now i love it... I also consider it a possible major radio hit (similar to BR and PK). Also i believe that no matter the choice of the 4th single,its success will be determined alot by the radio performance of TEOG... All things show that it will be a huge airplay hit but if it doesnt it will be unlikely (not impossible but still) to have a successful 4th single.

Yes, but the "rah-rah-ah-ah-ah" intro is basically gibberish and there isn't really any of that repetition in the BR chorus. I guess my question is have you always objected to the repetition thing as lazy songwriting? If so, fair enough. I just think it's a calculated stylistic motif and has always been a big part of her signature sound.
