By only a few 100k though, and you must factor in the account that Stripped had 1 hit single in the states. While Beyonce actually had like 4 or 5.

It's also undercertified. It should be around 12x platinum. Well over 11 million have been sold/shipped in different formats for sure in the US.

That means that about 8 million - 10 million could have been shipped before 1991. I'm not sure about the certification date though, since the Diamond award appeared in 1999 or 2000.
