She has to sell 1M. If It can't reach that amount, I think it would be disappointing, not for the fans, but for her team because with that insane promo, they are really expecting the album at least sells 1M the first week.

1 million is not enough, I say at least one million and half in the US and the same worldwide! The Fame debuted with 24,000 copies sold, she was unknown. But now, she is the international phenomenon LADY GAGA, so as far as I'm concerned, this is like starting-over again, THE album that has a strong foundation behind. It is her time. Also, considering that she first talked about it at the MTV VMAs with the Born This Way acapella snippet. IT HAS BEEN EIGHT MONTHS of intensive awareness, appearances and promotion here and there. I wish her the best & I think she can pull it off!

first single must be #1 for at least 7 weeks - Born This Way failed this
second single must peak at #9 or above - Judas failed this
third single cannot start with the word 'the' - The Edge of Glory failed this
second promotion single cannot be at #17 on iTunes on May 22nd 2:33 PM PST - surprisingly, Hair failed this

i can confirm this since i go to zara like every third day to buy me some new good clothes. im not even kidding.
