Wow... ATRL has no clue about Country music. Scotty is LEGIT and the most marketable AI winner since Carrie Underwood. Flop? Seriously? Country sells more albums in the US than any other popular genre, and Scotty will definitely sell millions. Don't underestimate the power of southern conservatives. Just because it's not to the preference of some narrow-minded pop fans doesn't mean it sucks.

I really can't stand this show anymore. It's not like how it was back in the day. The only reason why Scotty won was because little girls found him cute. Nothing to do with his performances or singing talent. To me he was the most boring performer of the season and yet he won? If a male winner was going to win it should have been James.

He may do well, but he still has a very ordinary voice (copy of Josh Turner, anyone could sound like that. His voice isn't really like that), and no crossover appeal.

The real question is: Why are people surprised that Scotty won? The kid has been popular since day 1 and clearly has the biggest fan-base this season and it showed weekly. Lauren had no chance in hell to win!
