Doubt it. If sales were tracking that high HDD's estimate would be higher. My guess is that E Online was talking about the 750k for the week estimate and people were playing Telephone with the news.

Yeah. They did say 750k "sold just yesterday" though.
Billboard's predicting 800-850, Hits is predicting 900k. My guess is first day the album must have sold between 320-360k to get those kind of predictions. Either Hits is overpredicting or Billboard is being too conservative.

800-850k is what UMG was predicting, Billboard just reported it and seemed to indicate they thought that was too conservative. We'll know soon enough, I suppose.
But I think TF got that boost because of the HBO special
