The past predictions were biblical. God related. So were the other past predictions. 2012 isn't.

What makes this date so much different? The Mayans predicted the world would end on this date. December 21st, 2012. Why? Because they studied the Earth's movements and the solar system, and the stars. So why should we fear this date?

The obvious reason, their calendar ends on that date, is not why. It's just like Y2K. Just start over and make a new one right?

Well in 2012 we are due for a polar shift. There is going to be a linear shift in the stars/planets and the Sun is going to have a massive solar system start-up. What does that mean for us?

It means two things. We could die from the Sun's solar system. It could blow off excessive amount of flames (like a fireball) and have it hit Earth, though researchers are saying, it's unlikely and the worst will just be technology issues. All our electronics will not work anymore. Interference with it.

It also means, the world could rotate on our axis. changing our plates. Japan is already proven to have rotated 73 feet (I believe) since the huge 8.0 Earthquake back a few months ago. It also means California could have it's BIG one. But like 2012, the movie, says, will it be enough to rip it apart and send it in the ocean, causing a huge flood among the world?

Actually, the Mayans didn't predict that the world would end on December 21, 2012. That's just an anniversary of their existence that was taken and spun into a whole different, incorrect theory.

Also, these past few Rapture dates weren't Biblical by any means. The Bible states that we, humans, are incapable of knowing when the Rapture will occur because it's in God's hands.

Isaac Newton, based off of his studies, concluded that the world could not possibly end until 2060.

You can probably google it. But the majority of what they say is:

A). Their calendar ends on that date.
B). We are going to have linear set-up of the planets, causing the Sun to have a massive solar system.
C). The polar shift (which relates to point B).

If you watch 2012, the movie, they disregard the theory B because scientists only think electronics will get affected by the solar system and there won't be a huge fireball coming to Earth.

Instead they focus on the rotation of the polar axises. In the movie don't they say Minnesota is the center of the North Pole after the plates move? I better stock up on clothes.

But I highly doubt California will fall into the ocean. But if you look at the Earthquake website, they are getting hammered with almost 1,000 Earthquakes up to 3.0 scale every week. It's kind of scary.

I believe something will happen. A new cosmic era will begin. Perhaps a few people will change or evolve spiritually. It won't be the end of the world, though.

Firstly, nah, I was just saying what I read on the internet. So then the media likes to twist the truth around then. From what I read, that is what 2012 is about. Because their calendar ends, solar flares, polar shift, etc.

And by biblical, I mean, they USED the bible to predict the end of the world EVEN though it says we can't know the exact time/date

2012 isn't even using the bible, it's using scientific study of the stars and earth movements (from what I read last year on the internet).

Ya, the Sun is going to have this huge massive solar flare system. I was just referring to it like that. Like there is a weather forecast system rolling through in fear of a tornado starting up, but we aren't 100% if a tornado will occur based on the knowledge we have on the system.

i think the new thing is going to be about the religions because the bible said before the End
we all gonna have one religion and the religion will be the religion God hate and when humain gonna have peace in this world with thier new religious the world as we know it will End.

Ok I wanted to clear up a few things:

1: The Mayans were all killed before they finished the calender so thats the reason why it stop at Dec 21 2012. Also most Mayans who are alive today(note not original Mayans) don't even believe the world will end there.

2: It takes over 100 years for poles to shift. If it happens in just one day then yeah the world will end. But it is IMPOSSIBLE for that to happen. The poles are switching as we speak... but it takes over 100 years, and prob lot s more time before the switch is complete.

3: The ring of fire is always active. Hence why Cali always is getting hit by quakes.

4: It is impossible for all the plants to Aline. If it is well its not predicted anytime soon.

5: Plates are always moving... but big earthquakes happen from time to time...

I would just say that you shouldn't believe everything you see or read or hear online or on TV.
