And how was there not a cliffhanger? We now have the Meredith/Derek feud and Christina leaving and getting an abortion. I just wish the finale had more of Callie and Arizona in it.

For me a cliffhanger is something like what happened on season 5's finale. Now that was a cliffhanger. This time around, they only presented storylines that didn't get a resolution, and will just continue 'developing' next season. I know that crazy endings aren't needed to make a great episode, but all of those storylines did not make me interested on what's coming next.

One of the worst season finale's ever. They used to be so good.

Flashing Lights

Needless to say, this was Grey's worst season finale to date, and the ratings prove it. Last year's finale recieved sixteen million viewers versus only nine million this year. I don't think Season 8 will be Grey's last season, though. Its ratings are series lows, but they're not abysmal.

Dancefloor

WOW seriously 9 million? OUCH. The season was good overall, I agree the finale was meh. Felt like a weekly episode. Keep waiting for them to say season finale next week.

I'm glad they didn't try to top last year though, because then people would be disappointed that they couldn't. They tried something different, and I was fine with it. The hospital scene was emotional enough.
