I believe in the Bible because I've tried to apply the morals and teachings contained in it in myself and it makes my life better, happier, more peaceful, and I feel fulfilled even if I don't attain a lot, I feel contented even if I only own a little. Quit leaning to your own knowledge and understanding and begin to put your trust on God if you want Him to give direction to your life. Stop pretending you know or you have the capacity to know everything and start admitting your weaknesses and faults, be humble and meek, and listen to God's word. If only of you non-believers would know true stories of how many people with no directions in life, were about to give up, but found the courage to seek God in their hearts and let Him take over his life, and from the verge giving up were saved, you'd be touched. I get teary-eyed whenever I hear stories like that in our fellowship.

I got the 'fungi' thing from one of the people that posted earlier. I know my parents are not wrong. I have seen a video about a girl that was actually taken by God to see heaven and hell. I don't want to spoil everything for you cuz I might show the video on this thread.

If he doesnt want to learn anything about evolution let him be. He believes in god and that's his choice. Maybe you're the one who needs to do more research on religion and faith instead of just putting it down like that. Maybe god doesnt exist, maybe he does. It's called faith, if he doesnt then he doesnt, but if he does then some people in this thread will have a nice time in hell

I'm not going to live my life based on "what ifs".

Saying we are going to hell for not believing in something that has no evidence is a really horrible thing to say. I get really annoyed with ignorance, however, I have actually been pretty nice.

Evolution is a force in life, this has been proven and its effects are so obvious. So the "No" option is completely null. That said, I believe everything is an act of God so I chose the third option.

It's fine if he chooses to stick with his beliefs, I doubt anyone's going to hold it against him. However, he also refuses to at least be somewhat informed about evolution before ridiculing it, and his evidence is just

Why are you guys even taking it so serious when you dont believe in god, meaning you dont believe in hell or heaven. So my comment shouldnt even have affected you since you guys are nonbelievers. Only god can decide who goes to hell and who goes to heaven although it does say in the bible that without faith it is impossible to please him and talks about the consequences for not believing in him.

However like i said im not even a huge christian and i dont take everything said in the bible literally, just like that whole "Spare the rod spoil the child" saying. People have different perceptions of god, and i believe that he will forgive many nonbelievers. I think that it's the people who mock his existence, worship the devil,etc that are in in trouble with him.

In conclusion. If you guys dont want to believe in god then so be it, it's your life. Case closed

You wouldn't believe the Earth is round due to your experience either. You wouldn't believe that the Earth circles the Sun based solely on experience either. You would find it strange if people believed that. See, that's the point of science, to show you things how they are and not how they appear to be.
