Gaga (Montreal Interview):
I think it will be the 4th single
Brazil Interview:
This song is about the time Gaga was in school and was forced to wear a uniform - something she found extremely repressive. Her only way to manifest individuality was through her hair. Since there was no rule about hairdo, every week she'd show up with one crazier than the other - and like that she dribbled the tight scheme of the classroom
Rolling Stone:
"Hair" is another inspirational song in the mold of "Born This Way," but it's a bit weirder, mixing the yearning romantic melodrama of Pat Benetar's "We Belong" with the hard industrial metal edge of Broken-era Nine Inch Nails. The lyrics are essentially about embracing one's hairstyle as the ultimate expression of their identity, climaxing with Gaga triumphantly declaring "I am my hair!" in its huge sing along chorus. An anthem for hair salons everywhere.
Gaga (Z100):
The song is about when I was a kid, you get to come down the stairs and you have to go to school and you're parents say you have to go change, you have to brush your hair, what are you wearing, you cant leave the house like that, go upstairs, your father's gonna have a heart attack
