For having a lot of songs on radio, I still have the opinion that it will only help the first week of sales, but will do absolutely nothing for the overall sells, as TEOG or Hair would probably be release as singles later and people would hear them at this moment. I'm here for overall sales, not first week sales only.
For TEOG, I agree and I hope it becomes a huge hit because I love it, but it's kinda getting a mess release just like Judas. We'll see.
Anyways, I'm excited to hear the album, I hope Interscope works this out well. I don't buy to the "Interscope knows it better than you, so trust them" - they would have known that Judas sounded like her previous work and it had religion background so they would have released TEOG or MTN as the second single? No? And they wouldn't have released the second single 2 months after BTW still smashing.

Right now, you can say that "The Edge of Glory" is smashing.
I completely agree with you on this, but let's not forget that Gaga is aiming to release a lot of singles, said all songs are single-worthy, and the album is going to have promo for the next couple of years. Other than "The Edge of Glory" and "Hair", we still have "Americano", "Marry The Night" as future singles, and who knows, maybe "Electric Chapel", "ScheiBe", "Heavy Metal Lover", "Bloody Mary" and "You & I".
As it been said before, her future U.S. performances will make things clearer to us and radio. We'll just have to wait and see.
I think, they're rushing out singles now because the album is coming very soon. After its release, everything should be back to normal. Releasing singles properly, doing promo etc.. Ot at least, I hope so.
