love it but i do think it's old because i know the nicki now is very very careful with using homosexual metaphor references. but i love this. it reminds me of the old era. like she can be serious, emotional and bossed up at the same time

I see where your coming from Vin. but trust me i'm sure she knows that. she's trying to please a large fan base that likes certain sides of her. Roman will best believe get loose and buck on the next album. but her emotional side is for the fans that have a attraction toward softnicka. It's just diverisity because if every song was like Romans Revenge, then she wouldn't be "the multi-talented Nicki Minaj"

I agree with this. I don't listen to rap, I do NOT like it, etc. I've heard Nicki before Pink Friday and she appeared on many songs as a featured artist -- and unfortunately on the songs that I loved, so I would just skip whenever it reached her part. But after hearing her for the first time on Wendy Williams singing "Right Thru Me", that's when I became a fan, and now I have her album on repeat and I listen to her everyday. The only song I don't like from her album is Roman's Revenge. That is just too much for me. I've seen old clips of her rapping, kind of like the Roman's Revenge-personality, and it just scares me to be honest. I love the Nicki she is now.

Hwhat? "Roman's" return? "Roman" hasn't even been showcased "on his own." Instead, she delivered an album of melancholic melodies paired with mediocre singing ability. No one was here for those generic productions and vocals. She needs to step it up for the next album and release "Roman" singles. And yes, she can have an entire album of "Roman" and still be perfectly diverse. It's frustrating because she had such a presence with strong female empowerment undertones, but now she's dangerously veering down that Katy Perry route (pouring pink champagne on your breasts? RLY?), and may become a disappointment to women in terms of feminism. She's walking that fine line between being a main staple or a complete joke, and I've been very patient. If the next album is Pink Friday 2.0, then she's done -- case closed.
