I agree with you. There are several people rooting for this to be a single. I don't really see it as a single, and if it is, I doubt it would do well. "Set Fire to the Rain" is actually a favorite, if you consider how well it's selling on iTunes.

In my mind, the single release should go like this:

Summer/Fall - Set Fire to the Rain (Worldwide)

Fall/Winter - Someone Like You (North America)/Rumour Has It (Europe)

2012 - Rumour Has It (North America)

Call me crazy, but "Set Fire to the Rain" has "Grenade" teas. I'm not sure if it would do as well as that song, but it seems like the type of ballad radio would play just like "Grenade." The only difference is, it would be released in the Summer or Fall.

I agree. I think if they released Turning Tables last it would end the era nicely. I don't see anything after Someone Like You doing that amazingly well.

I'm up there with the "Set Fire To The Rain" crowd. Everyone that has heard it has told me they love it.

"Rumour Has It" might've already been released to Triple A and Alternative radio stations. I could see it being an official single sometime later this year or early 2012.

With the way it's falling TEOG will be #3 by tomorrow morning.

But it's okay, it's still early. Once she performs this on Idol (and if she's smart, she will), it's a wrap. I was never convinced on Judas as far as hit potential, but this single is far more promising.

EW NO!!!!!!! SFTTR is an epic song and it's ten million times better than Grenade. Grenade was good for couple of listens but then got boring and irresistibly annoying to listen to.

"Set Fire to the Rain" would do just fine, even though it's summer. It's a rockish-powerful ballad. "Love the Way You Lie" was the biggest summer hit last year, and it isn't the typical "Summer Smash" you'd expect.

Adele should release SFTTR summer, then "Turning Tables" for Winter. She should skip Someone Like You altogether for the US, it's too "sad" and "slow" for the American airwaves.

I can see TT doing like "Jar of Hearts" on Pop.

I don't mean that they are alike in quality, but I feel that if they played something like "Grenade," then "Set Fire to the Rain" should be able to see at least decent success there. It's not too slow like "Someone Like You." It has that radio-friendly essence like "Grenade," but certainly better.

I see no problems why radios won't want to play it. Without the "Grenade" comparisons, SFTTR is very radio-friendly and the most radio-friendly song on the album. If RITD got that far, then SFTTR should be able to go further.

SFTTR is a smash waiting to happen. The song that got me hooked on her album.

I reckon "Set Fire to the Rain" (and "Someone Like You") has sold quite an impressive load already.

Do you guys think Adele can find subsequent single success where Amy/Duffy didn't? I hope so, cuz I like so many of the tracks more than RiTD (which is still good), but it seems like there's precedent against it.
