I still don't understand why so many of you are freaking about because they're likely scrapping Judas as the 2nd single. I mean, sucks if you love the song (I don't ), but what's the big deal? How does that make this era a mess?

The Fame Monster had Bad Romance

Born This Way still lack this monster hit (I don't consider that BTW (single) had something near the overall success of PF BR - even with all the #1 weeks). The overall public remember Gaga because of Bad Romance, because of Poker Face, because of Just Dance. They really don't care about her selling 15 million albums, honestly - they probably don't even know. I guess the only thing that will make me forgive them for all that Judas situation is making TEOG that massive hit à la Poker Face/Bad Romance.

Albums sales aren't everything. Huge singles are as important to me.

Does anyone have Gaga spins on KIIS today? Glad to see z100 has jumped on TEOG (6 spins already is great for today!!!). Also, I totally think Judas could come back (probably not to #1) due to buzz from TEOG (as somebody just mentioned above).... kinda like what happened with What's My Name and Only Girl (as in Only Girl got MASSIVE after What's My Name was released and performed on SNL....).

I am really hoping that Gaga performs TEOG on SNL and American Idol..... it could make the song/album sales MASSIVE!!! TEOG has such broad appeal- Gaga fans, pop music lovers, little girls, and soccer moms. Although it would be great it she performed JUDAS, it does not have as broad of appeal.... TEOG could go sky high if it is promoted when she is given the opportunity!

Oh, good grief. The way you guys were talking about the Cannes performance I was expecting something abysmal (hey, look, expectations!). She sounded fine, it's not a song that she's going to be able to sound like the studio version on (like BTW). The BR performances were largely the same. And it looks like the promo had an effect in France.

She should still probably perform TEOG on Idol, though. US radio is just a lost cause for Judas at this point.

I swear that is a ***** she is hitting at that guy.

I agree. At this time, the damage is done. I'm pretty sure that performing TEOG on the big promo spots would send it to #1 pretty fast. It's very appealing to everyone.
