I really don't feel her team on this one. People may say it's good for album sales blah blah but I'm not feeling it and I think it's so stupid. Why?
You can't expect every ****ing songs to smash with minimal promo just like Born This Way. Judas was released 3 weeks ago and had the ellen performance and the video? That's it? Now, they'll do the same thing if TEOG drops and don't get that instant smash thing? The album isn't even released and we're at the third single, ridiculous. Are they only here for first week sales? Overall, the album will need to have a lot of good successful songs to sell a lot over time.
It was probably a good decision to release TEOG as a PROMO single for now to appeal different buyers for the first week sales, but don't send it to add and make it the third single already. Why would you do that, it's like they're rushing everything. It just shows that they're not in control right now.
People are saying we're here for album sales - I'm here for a complete album. When we'll look at it later, I want to be able to say that the majority of the songs were big success. I'm not here for singles that are dropped out just because we need a huge hit RIGHT now.
Let's see how this turn out. I'm now wondering what they're planning to perform for all the promo coming out
