So, it's pretty obvious that the Britney's, Beyonce's, Gaga's, Ke$ha's, Pink's, Rihanna's, Adele's, and Katy Perry's are dominating the music world, but do you ever wonder what happened to the guys? I mean you still have your enrique, usher, jason derulo, Chris Brown's bruno mars, but nobody that will has a huge impact honestly besides Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake (Artists that can rocket to number one on the iTunes top ten and billboard hot 100 and hold the position). I'm really curious to see what everyone's opinion is on why guys are having an impact like that of the ladies and what you think they should be doing to change it?

I'm writing an essay to possibly get a summer internship at interscope, I have my own opinions, but I want to include as many viewpoints as possible, who knows maybe they'll end up listening to us

Im just wondering why there cant be a few male artists that come out and captivate EVERYONES attention and shoot up the charts like we seem to get from female artists every couple years, britney then christina then beyonce then pink then rihanna then gaga then kesha you know. It feels like we've got the Justins and maybe Usher sometimes. You dont hear about guys shooting to number 1 in multiple countries in several hours like brit beyonce and gaga.

Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber are like the only ones, and ugh they are BORING! They are talented, but when it comes to substance and entertaining, they are a snooze. Plus, it's only a matter of time before Justin fades away and Bruno is limited to AC radio with his schmaltzy music.

We need a pop male superstar with the whole package.

dont get me wrong im a HUGEEEEEEE justin fan and while he makes great music I feel that he came up in the golden era of music where some so so music was selling tons he had to earn the right to do the music he wanted with justified and fsls, artists now a days arent being given that same chance its like one and done

they are. I dont mean to offend anyone but while justin t is in my opinion the best male pop star out now he also had his start being the young teen singing cheesy love songs making millions of girls swoon.

if you watch never say never you'll see the crazzzzzy impact bieber is having on the world and young girls the same age most here were when they fell for justin t. and biebers only been in the game a little over 2 years or something. while he's obviously not on the same talent level as justin t, mainly because justins been in the business for almost 20 years while justin hasnt yet he's definitely having the same impact he did at a young age.

I love his voice, but I also dont feel he had IT, like the ladies I mentioned reach across genres and cultures. I hear kesha and gaga on urban radio and pop but I never here adam on urban, meanwhile JT and Usher get the cross platform you know.

You have to be sing or have other musical talents, captivate an audience, deliver really good material, etc.

I feel like these guys need more charm, swag, whatever you call it. I mean Justin Timberlake can win you over with that smile and his humor, Bieber is a little ladies man and he has the whole babyface young guy thing working same with usher and that sexy smile ,

Justin Bieber mainly appeals to young girls who haven't reached puberty yet. Unless he does a complete 180 with his music and style after these girls move on and have their menstrual cycles, he will be out of the game for gawd.
