This is what boggles my mind. Mr. P and I had a real brief convo about it a while ago. JUST BECAUSE early 80's/90's music is "not really on the radio right now" doesn't make it ANY LESS generic or dated. So Gaga's music is "fresh" because no other artist is showcasing dated 80's/90's music? RLY? THAT is your argument? No. Sorry. Try again. Christina Aguilera releasing "Back To Basics" or Cee-Lo Green's style of music isn't in the same category because they both are/were not simply just photocopying a genre. They made the sound current AND their productions weren't overly-produced and noisy. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Gaga is OVERTHINKING the album, and that'll be her major downfall for "Born This Way."
