Some Euroskeptical party made significant electoral gains in Finland last month. Like other troubled economies in the European Union, Portugal requested an economic bailout worth €78 billion. However, it happens to require approval from other eurozone countries. The thing is that this particular party is crucial to form a coalition government in Finland, and they oppose any kind of EU integration, especially aid to weaker economies such as Portugal. They think that the Finnish shouldn't pay for the irresponsible mistakes made by the Portuguese. While they're entitled to express their concerns, Portugal really needs this bailout. As part of the eurozone, both countries are in this together.
