then let's see if Scotty could carry himself on his own as well. The country scene is already filled with superstars on the charts with Taylor,Carrie,Miranda,Lady Antebellum, Sugarland,Reba,Aldean,Paisley, etc. dominating.
Just because he's country doesn't mean he'll automatically be phenomenal

Scotty will never get Carrie's career, the relevancy of Idol has grown weaker and weaker since Season 4. He's given mediocre to good performances since the beginning, not a single amazing memorable performance. Not worthy to be winner.
Haley will most likely flop, but she's the best one left.

Taylor, Carrie, Miranda - Female
Reba - Old and irrelevant
Sugarland, Antabellum - Band
Aldean, Paisley - Male.
There's always a space for one more male country artist. Plus, Aldean and Paisley don't have the hype like Scotty will have.

and what hype would that be? "Presenting the winner of American Idol season 10...."
If the winner last season didn't even get a lot of hype and promo, I don't know why that would change with Scotty.....I bet the next live performance we see from him on television after he wins will be during the semifinals on the next season of AI promoting a single from his album that took a long time to be released

Don't tell me you're serious
Every winner will automatically get the hype from their win. This is a 22 M views weekly competition televised during a primetime for God's sake. All winners got the hype but it depends on them on whether or not they could live up to the expectation.
By hype, it means if his materials are good, he would make a big splash coz people are aware of his talent and ability and he'd be fairly popular by the moment he's crowned as the winner....and if he didn't have good materials, people remain unbothered. That's just the way the game is played.

I think it's safe to say Lee is the most forgettable, irrelevant, and biggest flop winner American Idol has ever had. Poor guy.......

you do know that his debut album won't be released quickly...he still has to go to the tour(which the last time I heard, was not successful last season) and by the time he releases his album, the big hype with his talent might not be that big anymore

Again?
Just because his album won't arrive as quick doesn't mean he's gonna stay at home and sleep all day. His label will arrange performance slots for him to keep the hype alive.
and regarding the tour, you can't just make false claims like that. Show me receipts.
Don't got any?

Statistics agree that the winner stand greater chance to perform better than the runner up.

This season of Idol has been the most successful in a while, I honestly do think the winner this season (HALEY REINHART) will be successful this time around!

Oh, and that tour is not headlined by Scotty alone, if they're not selling, everyone has their share in contributing to that, and that includes Haley.
Anymore question?

Scotty's lucky he won't be on Jive
Don't worry, I'm prepared if Haley leaves next week. She has reached far in the competition which I didn't even expect
let's wait first for the ticket sales on the next tour. If it's successful, then we can also say that it's not just because of Scotty, cause everyone contributes to the success, and that includes Haley
