Its not. Universal is the Parent label for Def Jam, Interscope etc.
SRC/Universal Motown is the label that shes about to sign in. Thats one of the smaller labels (SRC) of the Universal Motown Group.

The music wasn't really a problem with Ciara atleast to me. It was the lack of promo and bad choices for 1st singles(Fantasy Ride era). So I agree with you all hopefully she gets promotion.
