The album should have never changed direction, she needs to get rid of Dr.Luke and Jive, they are simply germs. She had a chance to top Blackout and failed because of her recording label.

And B&A were expensie because they produced the best music on the record, rightly so.

There's probably some truth in this... And if there is, I like that they're considering several singles. All the videos... Omg.

I smell another unreleased album

A rock album from Britney would have been really good for her, I think. Something new, but I guess that was never true? That would have been really interesting, and I'd have some admiration for Britney at least attempting to do something new and unexpected. Similiar to how Rihanna cameback with the unexpected sound of Rated R.

Also I don't like the excuses given for her. Gwen Stefani, who is much more involved with everything in comparison, still found time not to be lazy after she had a baby. In fact, she said that having a baby made her stronger. Gwen is a mother first, but she still found time to promote. I remember the Webisodes during her last solo era where her son started crying and she just stopped to go get him. I feel like after Britney's contract is done, she should just become a stay at home mom and release minimal music time to time. I think that would help her, and if that's where she'd rather be then maybe she no longer has a place in making new music that competes with these younger + hotter acts?

She's not Gwen Stefani.
Their personnal situations are completely different. One is a fairytale, the other a long nightmare.
Moreover, most of the "excuses" we've been reading are pretty much facts, at this point.

More of the reason that Britney is probably in the wrong place. I feel like she is surrounded by people she does not need to be. I do not discredit her care for her children, but it seems like her world is in imbalance. I think it would be great to see Britney a stay at home mom

If they're not gonna release Big Fat Bass...they should release How I Roll.

It's so cute and nasty. I can see the video right now. The song doesn't even require complicated choreography...so it could be a real cute video. They better release it. It would catch on like crazy.

I can buy that...if she didn't live in Los Angeles where plenty of huge marketing plans could have been fufilled. The Ellen show, The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, American Idol, The Grammy's, etc. are all hosted or broadcast in the LA county area....

I can buy this because they had a hard time convincing insurance companies to back her for the Circus Tour in 2009. Insurance companies were worried that there would be a repeated episode of the Onyx Hotel Tour. scandal all over again.

We can dissect her as long as we want to but , in the end of the day, we're not in her head.
We don't know what it feels like to be "the Britney Spears" and we don't know what's going on behind closed doors.

The only thing that I'm requiring from her is that she keeps on releasing great music and she has yet to let me down in that field.

She can record songs while making iced tea for her children or in the shower.

It's none of my business.
