I am doing RS for GCSE and it consists of learning random bible passages and then verbally vomiting them in arguements against and for statements such as: "Should we give contraception to a teenager under 16".

I did my time with RS GCSE.

A hint, when they tell you to state your opinion you need to state their opinion or you get no marks. I rebelled in my exam and happily took my grade. Even if you get all the bible passages right they will crucify you if you agree with abortion.

This is such a good statement. Gaga got far too much **** for the Madonna/Born This Way comparisons, when all the songs made by most of the pop girls sound exactly the same.

We are instucted to just write: "The weight of Biblical evidence supports the for/against side....".

GCSEs are so spoonfed.

But the best biblical passage is St Paul Colossians: "Clothe yourself in compassion", you can use it for everything.

Enjoy them while you can, I'm sitting my A2s over the next 2 months and it is a real kick up the ass. GCSEs now that I look back on them were a doddle, at the time the pile of books made me want to cry.

Apparently IB is even more work, the people doing it spend most of their nights doing homework but I think I will prefer its openess.

I can't wait for University.
