March 25, 2006 Reality Check Juvenile 174,000
March 31, 2007 Luvanmusiq Musiq Soulchild 149,000
March 29, 2008 Trilla Rick Ross 198,000
March 28, 2009 All I Ever Wanted Kelly Clarkson 255,000
March 27, 2010 Battle of the Sexes Ludacris 137,000

here are sales at the end of may:

may 31, 2008 - Death Cab for Cutie - 144,000
may 28, 2009 - green day - 215,000
may 29, 2010 - justin bieber - 60,000
if anything, they are even lower.
now sales for early august:
august 4, 2007 - now - 223,000
august 2, 2008 - nas - 187,078
august 1, 2009 - daughtry - 269,000
august 7, 2010 - eminem - 187,000
not different from march sales either so my point stays
+even with sales being higher on holiday season and lower in january, it is only a nice feat, sales still depend on the artist and the album. kesha releasing cannibal on christmas and adele putting out her album in february are good examples
