I don't know about America, but Europe would eat this up! This is straight up from the early 90's. I don't think Americans would appreciate it now.
Funny, when I saw the title I was like "The only song I like from Shakira is that one song that's not even English" and voila! It happens to be the English version of that song. I like the song but the lyrics? Gurrrl, I could even write better lyrics than that.
