This. I'm so tired of the judges babying Lauren. She has an amazing voice, but she is just NOT ready. She's not ready to be an American Idol. She needs more time and some experience. And then Hayley gives these great performances, works the stage, has so much personality in her voice and pushes herself and she doesn't get nearly as much recognition from the judges.

That has to be my favorite Scotty performance.

I missed the first 10 minutes but I don't think Hayley has gone yet. She did a joint performance with Casey, earlier, though.

I have been harsh on Scotty & James these past few weeks but they brought their A-game tonight and I was really impressed! The beginning of their performances in particular were amazing. Casey did a really great job as well, the judges underrated his performance, I think.

Is it weird that Haley reminds me of Mariah Carey?

I wanted her to do a ballad but she worked it out. I'm scared for her performance won't be enough to keep her safe tomorrow. That rushed judging didn't work in her favor either.
